Affiliate Success: eBay uses the eBay Web Service to serve auction data on a user's website. It's uses are literal limited only by the owners imagination. It can be used to serve ad units containing auctions and as amazing as it may seem AS:e generally performs better than Adsense. It can be used to provide a listing of auctions topically related to the subject of a blog entry. Using the included bonus software (DWG) it can be used to create a virtual storefront containing all or just a few of eBay's 27,000 categories. AS:e is an affiliates new best friend.
