eBay has announced that they will now allow sellers to collect affiliate commissions on their own auctions! Great news for sellers. Probably time to grab a copy of Affiliate Success: eBay (ASE) and throw up some pages on your website.
Affiliate Success: eBay 2.0 is now available for registered users. In addition to support for all Commission Junction eBay affiliate programs, ASE now has a much simplified process for requesting an eBay API server token. Just click a button, type your eBay ID, click a few more button, and BINGO! You’re online. This new process is fully automated and takes only a minute.

The Rover update for Affiliate Success: eBay was mailed to all current ASE customers early this morning. I recommend installing the ASE Rover update soon. eBay’s original cutoff for the old Commission Junction links was November 15, 2006, but they have extended that date to December 15, 2006. Personally, I would have extended the Rover cutoff to January 15, 2006 as that represents a more realistic end to the Christmas season with ample time for cleanup operations, but my opinion wasn’t solicited.
For current owners of ASE, I have released v1.30 which includes international support and automatic category downloads. You can now build eBay listing sites using the DWG script that provide listings in any of the 22 eBay web service support country languages. 11 of the supported countries also provide Commission Junction affiliate programs so you can earn commissions for these 11 countries as well.
eBay provides support for 22 distinct countries within their web service API. 11 of these countries have affiliate programs supported by Commission Junction. Are you getting your share of dollars and euros?
