About Affiliate Rant!
Affiliate Rant! is a journey into the mind of an Internet marketer and developer. I’m an active affiliate and I also develop software, generally using PHP and mySQL, that is primarily of use to affiliate marketers and webheads. I’m a straight shooter therefore I may offend… I hope you respect and appreciate this strength. If you don’t I probably won’t lose much sleep. 
There are many great resources for affiliate marketing on the net. What I seek to provide here on Affiliate Rant! is an admittedly biased review of affiliate programs and software of primary interest to affiliate marketers and web developers. This ideal generally boils down to just a few simple points: does the (software, affiliate program) work? How does it compare to competitors? How much does it cost? Is it a good deal?
You also have the privilege of joining me on my journey marketing my first commercial application aimed squarely at the affiliate market - Affiliate Success: eBay. I won’t bore you with the details but if you are looking for a little something to take you earnings to the next level and that pairs well with Adsense or Chitika, follow the link.
I will be serializing my marketing efforts for Affiliate Success: eBay as a sort of real-life marketing test case, blemishes and all, illustrating what it takes to successfully market an information product online. I suspect the lessons I share will be equally applicable to eBook as well as software marketing so tune in if you have any intentions or interest in this area. Internet marketing is truly one of the last great frontiers of capitalism and unrestricted small business development but do I have what it takes?
