The sky is falling! You could see this coming a mile away… All you Adsense jokers better get busy replacing that revenue.

In a stunning announcement today, Google reported that it is shutting down its Adsense advertising program - effective immediately.

Already have my copy and this is a real page turner!

The Affiliate Code (available 4.1.06 at all major bookstores) tells the story of a California technology company that will do anything to bring in the big publishers and advertisers to their network.

Buzz aside, it looks pretty cool but it didn’t successfully load my 3 page Word doc with a few embedded graphics. Not there yet…

eBay has announced the winners of their Developer’s Contest. The grand prize went to Unwired, an auction tracking and last minute bidding application but my vote goes to the first place winner, ctxbay. ctxbay displays contextual eBay listings in the same way that Google delivers Adsense to your website. It’s not a standalone application that you install on your site though - they deliver the results using JavaScript.

I previous penned my opinion on Google silently reducing the Adsense qualifying affiliate referral time-period from infinity to 90 days here.  It seems they have, again silently, changed the referral time-period - this time from 90 days to 180 days.  Good move.
